Signals
Basic usage of the signal chart
- Left mouse button : Set the time cursor position.
- Right mouse button : Open the context menu to set the X and Y range.
- Mouse wheel :
- Scroll to zoom in or out.
- Hold and drag the mouse wheel button to pan.
- Press the mouse wheel button to reset the view.
Display modes
Mode | Description |

F | Fluorescense intensity |
F (%) | Sensor saturation percentage |
ΔF | Difference from baseline (F - F0) |
ΔF/F0 (%) | Change relative to baseline (e.g. if F0=100 and signal=105 then 5%) |
dF/dt | Time derivative |
Setting the time range of interest
- Option 1 : Fill in the values manually.
- Option 2 : Hold the Ctrl key and drag-select a range in the signal chart.
Setting the baseline
Open the image menu then pick one of the following :
- Minimum value.
- Average value over the selected time range.
- External image.
You may also want to remove the baseline drift.
note
Both 'Minimum value' and 'Average value' will do the calculation for each pixel separately.
Time markers
Markers allow you to jump between multiple time positions.
